JeremyCorbyn

I'll let those who have worked with Corbyn speak for themselves:

    • Two linked tales. I think you have to read them to get the full horror; a summary would not do them justice.
    • Corbyn derailed main campaign (start of year fare increases) with a reshuffle while it was in full flow, rather than waiting a couple of days
    • More than once, gave press interviews against agreed policy
    • Without any consolation, calling for immediate triggering of Article 50 in wake of Brexit vote. Acknowledge work of Kate Hoey and Gisela Stuart for Leave campaign but not the Remain workers.
    • Corbyn routinely deferred to his shadow chancellor when confronted with a difficult decision
    • Shadow chancellor on three separate occasions undermined her efforts to agree collective positions on health matters.
    • Shadow Chancellor undermined review by coming up with alternative policy announcements, with no consultation.
    • The Leader's office was a complete failure in addressing the situation.
    • Corbyn claiming credit for a major government U-turn over tax credits although he had played no part in the strategy or tactics of the party’s successful campaign on the issue.
    • No steer on policy, no follow-through on suggestions.
    • When the Leader’s office did venture into Defra territory, they didn’t talk to the shadow team.
    • His office was clearly under-staffed and in a bit of a muddle. Letters to Jeremy on Defra issues were passed on to us months later for a reply.
